wallvish game

privacy

wallvish game is meant to be fun. unfortunately, fun on a phone requires a few practical arrangements. this page explains what we collect, why we collect it, where it goes, and what you can do if you would rather not be in the system at all.

1. who runs this

wallvish game is built by dennis dubbelhuis, under the wallvish umbrella.

for privacy questions, deletion requests, or data requests, contact whale@wallvish.com or privacy@wallvish.com.

2. what we collect

3. why we use it

we use this data to run the game, show highscores, enable nearby competition, show player photos as part of gameplay and score views, keep things working properly, investigate bugs, and improve future versions.

we do not sell your data. we do not use it for cross-app advertising tracking. we use it because without some data, a game becomes an unusually decorative spreadsheet.

4. where it is stored

data is stored using google firebase services and may be processed or stored in europe, the united states, or both, depending on the service and configuration in use.

5. who we share it with

we do not sell your data.

we share data only with service providers needed to operate the app and its infrastructure, including google firebase, or where disclosure is required by law.

in general, we prefer to share as little as reasonably necessary. modern life already leaks enough information without us joining in for sport.

6. how long we keep it

we keep data for as long as reasonably necessary to operate the game, maintain highscores, investigate issues, improve the service, and meet legal or security obligations.

if you delete a highscore or request deletion, we will remove the relevant visible content where appropriate.

some technical records, logs, backups, or internal records may remain for a limited time where reasonably necessary for security, integrity, debugging, or legal reasons. computers can be thorough in the least emotionally rewarding way imaginable.

7. your options

depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or request a copy of your data.

you can also revoke camera or location permissions in your device settings, use in-app deletion features where available, or contact us if something remains visible and should not.

if these options are not already available in the app, contact privacy@wallvish.com. we are happy to handle reasonable and valid requests.

8. deletion requests

if the app offers deletion for your current session, simply use that feature.

if something still remains visible and you believe it belongs to you, email privacy@wallvish.com with screenshots if possible, the player name or identifier used, the approximate date or time of play, and enough proof that it is yours. we will review it and fix it as appropriate.

9. children

wallvish game may be used by children. where required by law, parental or guardian consent should be provided for the processing of a child’s personal data.

if your message concerns a child or a child-safety issue, say so clearly in the subject line. those matters will be treated with higher priority, as they should be.

10. future features

future versions may add richer photo reflections, broader location-based views, profile systems, or cross-game point systems.

if a future feature materially changes what data we collect or how we use it, this policy will be updated.
